It rises from 1.51 at four places to 4.92 at eight, about 0.85 of an arrow for each place added — while the count of arrows rises by two. A picture is drawable only when that number is nought, and a quantity whose mean grows steadily is nought less and less often, which is the whole of the fall in the previous measurement. Nothing here is about a pair being impossible; it is about a tally having to come out empty.
